Let's Do Something Awesome

You’ve probably seen this all over the blogosphere, but a weekened recommendation really means nothing until it’s featured on LDSA. Behold:

I’m thinking this could be pretty cool, though definitely more worth it at the pre-sale $10 fare. The ticket does grant entry for both Saturday and Sunday, which is a nice bonus, especially if you’re a downtown resident. I’d suggest a couple hours of artisnal shopping, followed by a French dip at Cole’s and a cocktail at The Varnish (half a mile away and 2 of my favorite spots).

With over 75 local vendors hawking merchandise from sweets, savory snacks, crafts and apparel, it could be the perfect place to do some early Christmas shopping for mom. Or dad. Or yourself. Which is usually what happens when I go holiday shopping.
